约翰福音信息之三十三---耶稣:人类终极的满足

约6:32-35


犹太众人寻找耶稣,意思是说,我们的祖宗在旷野四十年吃用摩西降下的吗哪,你用五饼二鱼喂饱五千人,你是否还能行更大的神迹,供应我们日用的面包呢?


主耶稣纠正他们说,“那从天上来的粮,不是摩西赐给你们的,乃是我父将天上来的真粮赐给你们。因为神的粮,就是那从天上降下来赐生命给世界的。”(约6:32-33)


犹太人发现一个源源不断供应他们日用面包的资源,于是便迫不及待地对说,“主阿,常将这粮赐给我们。”


主耶稣回答说,“我就是生命的粮。到我这里来的,必定不饿。信我的,永远不渴。”(约6:35)


这一段对话,引出约翰福音第六段灵与肉的对话(约6:33-35):


“因为神的粮,就是那从天上降下来赐生命给世界的。”

“他们说,‘主阿,常将这粮赐给我们。’”

“耶稣说,‘我就是生命的粮。到我这里来的,必定不饿。信我的,永远不渴。’”


一.基督---人类生命之粮


“耶稣说,‘我就是生命的粮。到我这里来的,必定不饿。信我的,永远不渴。’”(约6:35)

“Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never go hungry, and he who believes in Me will never be thirsty.”” (John 6:35)


这是约翰福音著名七个“我是”声明的第一个:“我是生命的粮!”


“我是” ---“I AM” (Ἐγώ εἰμι)

“我是!”---“我是自有永有的。” ((I AM Who I AM))(出3:14)


“摩西对神说,‘我到以色列人那里,对他们说,你们祖宗的神打发我到你们这里来。他们若问我说,他叫什么名字?我要对他们说什么呢?’神对摩西说,‘我是自有永有的。又说,你要对以色列人这样说,那自有的打发我到你们这里来。”(出3:13-14)

“Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name?' Then what shall I tell them?" God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'"”(Exodus 3:13-14)


因此,“我是”---意为:“我是耶和华神!”

“我就是生命的粮”(I AM the Bread of Life)---“我---耶和华神---就是生命的粮。”


“‘生命’的粮,”这里的“生命”一词,原文使用“ζωῆς”,显然不是指用物质的面包所滋养的肉体生命,乃是指那真“生命”的本体,“生命”的永恒。


“生命在祂里头。”(“In Him was life.”)(约/John 1:4)


这“生命之粮”是父神从天上赐下的,而且是赐生命给世界的,是人类所需要的真正生命的粮。

“耶稣说,‘我实实在在地告诉你们,那从天上来的粮,不是摩西赐给你们的,乃是我父将天上来的真粮赐给你们。因为神的粮,就是那从天上降下来赐生命给世界的。’”(约6:32-33)

“Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the True Bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."” (John 6:32-33)


以色列人在旷野四十年所吃用的吗哪,是那从天上降下的“真粮”(True Bread)的预表。

吗哪是物质的粮,神每天早晨从天降下给以色列人,神要求他们按着个人的饭量,每天收取够用的。若有人多收,留到第二天早上,就生虫变臭了。(出16:16-20)


而且,吃这吗哪并不保证人吃了不死,以色列那一代人都在旷野死了。


“你们的祖宗在旷野吃过吗哪,还是死了。”(约6:49)

“Your forefathers ate the manna in the desert, yet they died.”(John 6:49)


然而,旷野吗哪所预表的“真粮”(True Bread)是神从天降下的,祂不是物质的面包,乃是耶稣基督自己,祂被称作是“神的粮”(The Bread of God),祂本身是“活的粮,” “有生命的粮” (The living Bread),而且人吃这粮就永远不死。


“这是从天上降下来的粮,叫人吃了就不死。我是从天上降下来生命的粮。人若吃这粮,就必永远活着。”(约6:50-51)

“But here is the Bread that comes down from heaven, which a man may eat and not die. I am the living Bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he will live forever.” (John 6:50-51)


“我是生命的粮!” 这第一个“我是”的伟大宣称,不仅显明耶稣基督的神性,而且也揭示了耶稣基督的道成肉身:祂从天降下,“神子”成为“人子”(The Son of God became the Son of Man),亘古永存的“道”(The Word)成为“我的肉真是可吃的、我的血真是可喝的”(“My flesh is real food and my blood is real drink”)(约/John 6:55)神的真粮(The Bread of God),让世人吃了就可以不死。


犹太人所要的,是满足他们肉体需要三餐日用的面包,但神所要赐给他们的,乃是祂的独生子耶稣基督,满足全人类灵魂深处终极的需要,即灵魂的饥渴。


约翰福音七个“我是”的宣称,从不同侧面显明耶稣基督满足人类灵魂深处的终极需要。


1. “我就是生命的粮!”(“I Am the bread of life.”)(约/John 6:35)---耶稣基督是永恒生命的唯一供应!


2. “我是世界的光。” ("I Am the light of the world.”)(约/John 8:12)---耶稣基督是永恒真理的唯一答案。


3. “我就是羊的门。”(“I Am the gate for the sheep.”)(约/John 10:7)---耶稣基督是上帝国度的唯一道路。


4. “我是好牧人。”(“I Am the good shepherd.”)(约/John 10:11)---耶稣基督是天国子民的保守指引。


5. “我就是复活和生命。”(“I Am the resurrection and the life.”)(约/John 14:6,新译本)---耶稣基督一劳永逸战胜死亡权势。


6. “我就是道路,真理,生命。”(“I Am the way and the truth and the life.”)---耶稣基督是人生追求的终极意义。


7. “我是真葡萄树。”(“I am the true vine.”)(约/John 15:1)---耶稣基督与所有信徒的生命连结。


二.基督---人类的终极满足


“耶稣说,‘…到我这里来的,必定不饿。信我的,永远不渴。’”(约6:35)

“Then Jesus declared, "…He who comes to Me will never go hungry, and he who believes in Me will never be thirsty.”” (John 6:35)


马斯洛关于人的需要层次论,将人的需要分为生理、安全、社交、尊重和自我实现等五种。


但归纳起来,人有三种基本需要:

物质的需要:如衣食住行等;

精神的需要:如哲学、艺术、运动、娱乐、音乐、文学等;

宗教的需要:即人灵魂的需要。


科学关注物质的范畴,哲学关注思想的范畴,宗教关注灵魂的范畴。从这个意义上说,神学超越哲学、哲学超越自然科学的讲法是有道理的。


人的各种需要因为不能满足,导致许多人甚至世界名人自杀身亡。据世界卫生组织统计,每 40 秒就有一人死于自杀。


著名影星自杀者包括:上官云珠、翁美玲、张国荣、玛丽莲梦露,罗宾·威廉姆斯。富豪自杀者如制造柯达胶卷的柯达公司创始人乔治·伊斯曼;洛克菲勒投资管理公司首席执行官詹姆斯·麦克唐纳;而每次金融危机之后都有长串的世界富豪自杀名单。大多数哲学家的结局,要么是疯疯癫癫,要么是悲观厌世。著名作家行列中自杀者更是比比皆是,如老舍、傅雷、三毛、海明威、杰克伦敦…


具有讽刺意味的是,杰克伦敦曾经写了短篇小说《热爱生命》,讲述一个阿拉斯加淘金者,如何以顽强的毅力与饥饿和野兽搏斗求生的事迹,而他自己却以自杀结束生命。


海明威的小说《老人与海》,老人海上打鱼经过长时间的斗智斗勇,最后得到的只是一堆鱼骨头,惟妙惟肖地描述了人生的虚空。


没有任何的人、事、物使人得到真正的满足,自始祖堕落之后的人生,充满虚空、孤独、罪疚、劳苦、病痛、死亡,没有人例外。


“地必为你(亚当)的缘故受咒诅。你必终身劳苦,才能从地里得吃的。…你必汗流满面才得糊口,直到你归了土,因为你是从土而出的。你本是尘土,仍要归于尘土。”(创3:17-19)

“To Adam He said, … "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. ... By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return."” (Gen 3:17-19)


圣经中的撒马利亚妇人,已经有五个丈夫,还有一个并不是她的丈夫,然而她并没有因此得到安全感或满足感。税吏撒该是个中饱私囊的财主,然而财富并没有使他满足,不然他就不会急切地爬到桑树上为要看耶稣。尼哥底母可谓是有名声、地位、道德、才学的宗教领袖和政治精英,然而他对自己是否有永生也并没有把握。


论到人间的享乐,所罗门妻妾成群、金银财宝应有尽有,无人能超其左右。所罗门积君王、财富、智慧、成就、美色、荣华等于一身,然而正是他发出这样的感叹:


“凡我眼所求的,我没有留下不给他的。我心所乐的,我没有禁止不享受的。…谁知都是虚空,都是捕风,在日光之下毫无益处。”(传2:10-11)

“I denied myself nothing my eyes desired; I refused my heart no pleasure. …everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind; nothing was gained under the sun.” (Eccl 2:10-11)


“虚空的虚空,虚空的虚空,凡事都是虚空。”(传1:2)

"Meaningless! Meaningless!" says the Teacher. "Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless."(Eccl 1:2)


这样的空虚、孤独、罪疚没有什么东西可以充满,世俗的娱乐、荣华、情欲、权位、财富都不能满足,直到有一天你遇见耶稣,唯有耶稣可以充满你的空虚、克服你的孤独、除去你的罪疚,赐给你永生及真正的平安和满足。


“神造万物,各按其时成为美好。又将永生安置在世人心里。”(传3:11)

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men.”(Eccl 3:11)


因神将永生放置在世人心里,因此唯有永生神自己以及祂永恒不变的话语才能满足人心的空虚。


奥古斯丁:“神啊,你为自己创造了我们。我们永远得不到安息,直到有一天安息在你的里面。”


“到我这里来的,必定不饿。信我的,永远不渴。”(约6:35)

这句话上半句与下半句同意重复,强调耶稣基督是人灵魂深处的满足。


模仿这句话的句型,可以将之扩充如下(任何人不能在耶稣基督的话上添加丝毫,但在此只是一个类比性的举例):


到主这里来的,必定不饿;信主的,永远不渴。

到主这里来的,必定不贪;信主的,永远不色。

到主这里来的,必定不愁;信主的,永远不忧。

到主这里来的,必定不窃;信主的,永远不偷。

到主这里来的,必定不惊;信主的,永远不怕。

到主这里来的,必定不奸;信主的,永远不诈…


为什么唯有耶稣基督才能满足人灵魂深处的饥渴?


罪是人类一切问题的根源!


“人心比万物都诡诈,坏到极处,谁能识透呢?”(耶17:9)

“The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” (Jer 17:9)


“我的百姓作了两件恶事,就是离弃我这活水的泉源,为自己凿出池子,是破裂不能存水的池子。”(耶2:13)

“My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.” (Jer 2:13)


“因为世人都犯了罪,亏缺了神的荣耀。”(罗3:23)

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God。”(Rom 3:23)


罗马书第一章列出一张罪的清单:“他们既然故意不认识神,神就任凭他们存邪僻的心行那些不合理的事,装满了各样不义,邪恶,贪婪,恶毒。满心是嫉妒,凶杀,争竞,诡诈,毒恨。又是谗毁的,背后说人的,怨恨神的,侮慢人的,狂傲的,自夸的,捏造恶事的,违背父母的,无知的,背约的,无亲情的,不怜悯人的。他们虽知道神判定,行这样事的人是当死的,然而他们不但自己去行,还喜欢别人去行。”(罗1:28-32)

“Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.” (Rom 1:28-32)


“耶和华说,‘恶人必不得平安。’”(赛48:22)

“"There is no peace," says the LORD, "for the wicked."”(Isa 48:22)


耶稣基督来,就是要解决罪的问题。


“我来本不是召义人悔改,乃是召罪人悔改。”(路5:32)

“I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”(Luke 5:32)


耶稣基督道成肉身,在十字架上舍身流血。耶稣基督籍着祂的肉身被钉十字架受死,解决人的罪性问题;籍着祂的宝血流出,洁净、赦免世人先前所犯的罪,解决人的罪行和罪疚的问题。


“因为知道我们的旧人和祂同钉十字架,使罪身灭绝,叫我们不再作罪的奴仆。因为已死的人,是脱离了罪。”(罗6:6-7)

“For we know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin--because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.”(Rom 6:6-7)


“我们藉这爱子的血,得蒙救赎,过犯得以赦免,乃是照祂丰富的恩典。”(弗1:7)

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.”(Eph 1:7)


“并我们心中天良的亏欠已经洒去,身体用清水洗净了,就当存着诚心,和充足的信心,来到神面前。”(来10:22)

“Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.”(Heb 10:22)


罪人因为罪得赦免,罪疚感也一并被挪去,便与神和好得着平安,从而成为人与人、人与己、人与自然和好的基础和前提。


当罪人获得赦罪的恩典之后,因着圣灵的内住和圣经的教训,他在一切的社会关系中都得着顺理成章的指引和答案。


1. 感恩敬拜


“当称谢进入祂的门,当赞美进入祂的院。当感谢祂,称颂祂的名。”(诗100:4)

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.”(Ps 100:4)


“要常常喜乐,不住地祷告,凡事谢恩。因为这是神在基督耶稣里向你们所定的旨意。”(帖前5:16-18)

“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.”(1 Thess 5:16-18)


“我们应当靠着耶稣,常常以颂赞为祭献给神,这就是那承认主名之人嘴唇的果子。”(来13:15)

“Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that confess His name.”(Heb 13:15)


敬拜赞美、喜乐感恩,使活水源泉得以涌流,使神的名得荣耀,是人的心得满足。


2. 日用所需


“所以不要忧虑,说,吃什么?喝什么?穿什么?这都是外邦人所求的。你们需用的这一切东西,你们的天父是知道的。你们要先求祂的国和祂的义,这些东西都要加给你们了。”(太6:31-33)

“So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matt 6:31-33)


知道天父必会供应我们的所需所求,就再也不用为吃穿忧虑发愁,省去许多的烦恼和争竞。


3. 婚姻家庭


“因此,人要离开父母与妻子连合,二人成为一体。”(创2:24)

“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.”(Gen 2:24)


“既然如此,夫妻不再是两个人,乃是一体的了。所以神配合的,人不可分开。”(太19:6)

“So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”(Matt 19:6)


“你们作妻子的,当顺服自己的丈夫,如同顺服主。…你们作丈夫的,要爱你们的妻子,正如基督爱教会,为教会舍己。”(弗5:22;25)

“Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. …Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.”(Eph 5:22;25)


“你们作儿女的,要在主里听从父母,这是理所当然的。…你们作父亲的,不要惹儿女的气,只要照着主的教训和警戒,养育他们。”(弗6:1;4)

“Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. …Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”(Eph 6:1;4)


当人们靠着主耶稣的恩典遵循这些教导,那么家庭中常见的争吵、外遇、离婚、虐待、不孝等一系列的问题就都消失了,取而代之的是家庭的和睦、敬虔、相爱以及在耶稣基督里完全的满足。


4. 金钱观念


“人为财死鸟为食亡,”“金钱不是万能的、但没有钱是万万不能的,”中文中诸如此类的俗语害人不浅。唯有圣经教导的财富观能使人为自己所有的而满足和感恩。


“然而敬虔加上知足的心便是大利了。因为我们没有带什么到世上来,也不能带什么去。只要有衣有食,就当知足。但那些想要发财的人,就陷在迷惑,落在网罗,和许多无知有害的私欲里,叫人沉在败坏和灭亡中。贪财是万恶之根。有人贪恋钱财,就被引诱离了真道,用许多愁苦把自己刺透了。”(提前6:6-10)

“But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” (1 Tim 6:6-10)


“我无论在什么景况,都可以知足,这是我已经学会了。我知道怎样处卑贱,也知道怎样处丰富,或饱足,或饥饿,或有余,或缺乏,随事随在,我都得了秘诀。我靠着那加给我力量的,凡事都能作。”(腓4:11-13)

“I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” (Phil 4:11-13)


“施比受更为有福。” (“It is more blessed to give than to receive.”)(徒/Acts 20:35)


如果具有这样的金钱观,就必然省去诸如贪心、攀比、偷盗、贪污、受贿、自私、吝啬、浪费、劳碌求富等许多的困扰和烦恼,从而在耶稣基督里得着深切的满足。


5. 克服情欲


“我是耶和华你们的神,所以你们要成为圣洁,因为我是圣洁的。”(利11:44)

“I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy.”(Lev 11:44)


“神的旨意就是要你们成为圣洁,远避淫行。要你们各人晓得怎样用圣洁尊贵,守着自己的身体。”(帖前4:3-4)

“It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable.”(1 Thess 4:3-4)


6. 面对苦难


“现在我为你们受苦,倒觉欢乐,并且为基督的身体,就是为教会,要在我肉身上补满基督患难的缺欠。”(西1:24)

“Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.”(Col 1:24)


“我受苦是与我有益,为要使我学习你的律例。”(诗119:71)

“It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.”(Ps 119:71)


“我们这至暂至轻的苦楚,要为我们成就极重无比永远的荣耀。”(林后4:17)

“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”(2 Cor 4:17)


7. 软弱疾病


“祂被挂在木头上亲身担当了我们的罪,使我们既然在罪上死,就得以在义上活。因祂受的鞭伤,你们便得了医治。”(彼前2:24)

“He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed.”(1 Pet 2:24)


“祂对我说,‘我的恩典够你用的。因为我的能力,是在人的软弱上显得完全。’”(林后22:9)

“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’”(2 Cor 12:9)


8. 辛勤服事


“无论作什么,都要从心里作,像是给主作的,不是给人作的。因你们知道从主那里,必得着基业为赏赐。你们所事奉的乃是主基督。”(西3:23-24)

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”(Col 3:23-24)


“所以你们或吃或喝,无论作什么,都要为荣耀神而行。”(林前10:31)

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”(1 Cor 10:31)


“所以我亲爱的弟兄们,你们务要坚固不可摇动,常常竭力多作主工,因为知道你们的劳苦,在主里面不是徒然的。”(林前15:58)

“Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”(1 Cor 15:58)


9. 彼此相爱


“我赐给你们一条新命令,乃是叫你们彼此相爱。我怎样爱你们,你们也要怎样相爱。你们若有彼此相爱的心,众人因此就认出你们是我的门徒了。”(约13:34-35)

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”(John 13:34-35)


10. 胜过死亡


“祂已经吞灭死亡直到永远。” (“He will swallow up death forever.”)(赛/Isa 25:8)


“死啊,你得胜的权势在哪里?死啊,你的毒钩在哪里?”(林前15:55)

“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” (1 Cor 15:55)


“无论是生,是死,总叫基督在我身上照常显大。因我活着就是基督,我死了就有益处。”(腓1:20-21)

“So that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” (Phil 1:20-21)


如果一个人真的吧死亡看做是穿越那荣耀之门,还有什么使他忧愁、挂虑、惧怕的呢?顺便说,马斯洛五个不同层次的需要,都可以在耶稣基督里找到满足和答案。因为人心的空洞,唯有永生神才能充满。

三.基督---人类的信心盼望


“耶稣说,‘…到我这里来的,必定不饿。信我的,永远不渴。’”(约6:35)

“Then Jesus declared, "…He who comes to Me will never go hungry, and he who believes in Me will never be thirsty.”” (John 6:35)


这句话是耶稣基督的应许,“必定不…永远不…” 原文是οὐ μὴ双重否定,表达强烈笃定的信息。


这句话同时也是耶稣基督的邀请:“到我这里来!…信我!…”


这“必定不饿、永远不渴”的应许。需要你到耶稣基督这里来才能够得着!


“到我这里来!…信我!…” 原文都是现在时,表示持续的、不断的、一直的相信!


信耶稣不是接受耶稣基督做救主的一次性决志祷告,相信接受耶稣基督是一个终生的信靠、交托、委身,以祂为救主和生命的主而信靠顺服。


主耶稣今天仍然想所有人发出邀请:“到我这里来!”


“凡劳苦担重担的人,可以到我这里来,我就使你们得安息。我心里柔和谦卑,你们当负我的轭,学我的样式,这样,你们心里就必得享安息。因为我的轭是容易的,我的担子是轻省的。”(太11:28-30)

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”(Matt 11:28-30)


“人若渴了,可以到我这里来喝。信我的人,就如经上所说,从他腹中要流出活水的江河来。”(约7:37-38)

“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” (John 7:37-38)

2003年,一群来自母会海华郡中华圣经教会(CBCHC)的基督徒领受神的异象,有感于巴尔的摩地区众多华人同胞的福音需要,于同年9月租用 Shelbourne Baptist Church 的场地开始聚会,并成立巴郡中华圣经教会 (CBCBC)。教会于2017年9月搬至新租用的Holy Nativity Lutheran Church,主要服事来自世界各地的华人移民,周边学校的华人学生学者,在美国出生的亚洲人, 及跨文化和美国的家庭。我们除了主日中文崇拜,还办有成人主日学以及针对学前班和学龄班的主日学,同时提供婴儿照看。
