约翰福音信息之四十一---从来没有像祂这样说话的

约7:40-52


有人(Brett & Kate McKay )总结人类历史上35篇最伟大的演说(The 35 Greatest Speeches in History),包括:1940年丘吉尔在敦刻尔克大撤退奇迹之后的演说,《我们将在海滩上战斗》《We Shall Fight on the Beaches》;1941年罗斯福总统在珍珠港事件后在国会的对日宣战演讲,《国耻演说》(《Infamy Speech》)或《珍珠港演说》《Pearl Harbor Speech》;1987年里根的《柏林墙》(《Berlin Wall Speech》)的演说,《拆毁这堵墙》(Tear Down This Wall);1775年帕特里克亨利的《不自由毋宁死》(《Give me Liberty or Give me Death》)的著名演说;1963年马丁路德金的《我有一个梦》(《I Have a Dream》)演讲;1863年亚伯拉罕.林肯著名的盖茨堡演说(《The Gettysburg Address》)等。


上述这些著名演说,基本上出自总统、政要、政治家、社会活动家等人之手,因此,能够发表扣人心弦的演说,对他们来说是其职业生涯的基本要求。


然而,人类历史上最著名的一篇演说,却是出自一位没有上过学、被称作是木匠的儿子---耶稣---之口,那就是家喻户晓的《登山宝训》(《Sermon on the Mount》)!两千年来,登山宝训成为不计其数人们的最高生活准则和道德标杆,从而改变了世世代代、千千万万人们的生命!因此,没有任何一个伟人的演说可以和主耶稣的《登山宝训》相媲美!


这正应了今天我们诵读的约翰福音第七章这段经文中的一句话:


“从来没有像祂这样说话的。”(约7:46)


“No one ever spoke like this Man!”(John 7:46,ESV)


耶稣基督不是以伟人、教师、道德家、宗教家等身份向世人说话,祂乃是以神的儿子、太初之道、宇宙之主、万王之王的身份对世人说话。


因此,是否接受祂的神子身份,是否接受祂的超然教训,势必成为人群中黑白分明的分界线。耶稣在世行走时如此,现今的世代仍然如此,可见的将来还是如此!


一.众人的纷争


“众人听见这话,有的说,‘这真是那先知。’ 有的说,‘这是基督。’但也有的说,‘基督岂是从加利利出来的吗?经上岂不是说,基督是大卫的后裔,从大卫本乡伯利恒出来的吗?’”(约7:40-42)


“On hearing His words, some of the people said, "Surely this man is the Prophet." Others said, "He is the Christ." Still others asked, "How can the Christ come from Galilee? Does not the Scripture say that the Christ will come from David's family and from Bethlehem, the town where David lived?"”(John 7:40-42)


“众人听见这话,…”


“这话”是指主耶稣在约7:37-38所说的话:


“人若渴了,可以到我这里来喝。信我的人,就如经上所说,从他腹中要流出活水的江河来。”(约7:37-38)


“"If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."”(John 7:37-38)


没有任何人可以这样说话。因着这话,人群中间就起了纷争,议论的焦点有三个。


1. 这真是那先知


“那先知”是旧约圣经摩西所说的预言,耶和华神自己也亲自印证摩西的预言。


“耶和华你的神要从你们弟兄中间给你兴起一位先知像我,你们要听从祂。”(申18:15)


“The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own brothers. You must listen to Him.”(Deut 18:15)


“我必在他们弟兄中间,给他们兴起一位先知象你。”(申18:18)


“I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers.”(Deut 18:18)


当施洗约翰出来传道时,众人曾经猜测他是不是那先知。


“他们又问他说,‘这样你是谁呢?是以利亚吗?’他说,‘我不是。’‘是那先知吗?’他回答说,‘不是。’”(约1:21)


“They asked him, "Then who are you? Are you Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" He answered, "No."”(John 1:21)


犹太众人中有人说耶稣就是那先知这是对的,耶稣正是摩西预言的那先知。使徒行传第三章使徒彼得的讲道印证了摩西的预言。


2. 这是基督


主耶稣的说话,让人联想起旧约关于弥赛亚时代的应许。


“因为我要将水浇灌口渴的人,将河浇灌干旱之地。我要将我的灵浇灌你的后裔,将我的福浇灌你的子孙。他们要发生在草中,像溪水旁的柳树。”(赛44:3-4)


“For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring, and My blessing on your descendants. They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams.”(Isa 44:3-4)


“你们一切干渴的都当就近水来,没有银钱的也可以来。”(赛55:1)


"Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money.”(Isa 55:1)


于是他们中有的人说,“这是基督!”


主耶稣所说的话,没有任何人可以说;主耶稣的神迹奇事,也没有任何人可以做。


犹太众人中有人相信耶稣就是基督,他们早前曾议论说,“基督来的时候,祂所行的神迹,岂能比这人所行的更多吗?”(约7:31)


“When the Christ comes, will He do more miraculous signs than this Man?”(John 7:31)


3. 这不可能是基督


“基督岂是从加利利出来的吗?经上岂不是说,基督是大卫的后裔,从大卫本乡伯利恒出来的吗?”(约7:41-42)


“How can the Christ come from Galilee? Does not the Scripture say that the Christ will come from David's family and from Bethlehem, the town where David lived?”(John 7:41-42)


众人中有的说,这怎么可能是基督呢?基督不是大卫的后裔,从伯利恒出来的吗?


这些人的疑问是有效的:基督应当是大卫的后裔,诞生于伯利恒。但他们的问题是,他们不知道耶稣正是大卫的后裔,诞生于伯利恒。他们没有花时间、下功夫去了解事实的真相。


福音书中有两个有关耶稣基督的家谱。马太福音记载约瑟的家系,经大卫的儿子所罗门传递,证明耶稣在法理上是大卫的后裔,因而有合法继承大卫王位的法统;路加福音记载马利亚的家系,经大卫的儿子约拿单传递,证明耶稣基督的道成肉身具备大卫家族的血统。因此,无论从哪个方面看,耶稣都是大卫的合法后裔。


“亚伯拉罕的后裔,大卫的子孙,耶稣基督的家谱。”(太1:1)


“A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham:”(Matt 1:1)


“…拿单是大卫的儿子,大卫是耶西的儿子,…”(路3:31-32)


“The son of Nathan, the son of David,…”(Luke 3:31-32)


至于耶稣降生在伯利恒,在路加福音第二章有详细记载。因为罗马皇帝该撒亚古士督的一纸命令,叫天下人民报名上册,于是约瑟和马利亚就长途跋涉来到伯利恒,在那里耶稣基督降生在马槽里。并有伯利恒野地的牧人前来寻访,有东方博士前来朝拜!


“约瑟也从加利利的拿撒勒城上犹太去,到了大卫的城,名叫伯利恒,…他们在那里的时候,马利亚的产期到了。就生了头胎的儿子,用布包起来,放在马槽里。”(路2:4-7)


“So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, …While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger.”(John 2:4-7)


“于是众人因着耶稣起了分争。其中有人要捉拿他。只是无人下手。”(约7:43-44)


“Thus the people were divided because of Jesus. Some wanted to seize Him, but no one laid a hand on Him.”(John 7:43-44)


“众人因着耶稣起了纷争。”


关于耶稣到底是谁,任何时候都必然在人群中引起纷争和站队。


当婴儿耶稣诞生时,西面就对耶稣的母亲马利亚预言说:“这孩子被立,是要叫以色列中许多人跌倒,许多人兴起。又要作毁谤的话柄。叫许多人心里的意念显露出来。”(路2:34-35)


“This Child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed.”(Luke 2:34-35)


主耶稣自己作见证说,“你们不要想我来,是叫地上太平。我来并不是叫地上太平,乃是叫地上动刀兵。因为我来,是叫人与父亲生疏,女儿与母亲生疏,媳妇与婆婆生疏。人的仇敌,就是自己家里的人。”(太10:34-36)


“"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn 'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law--a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.'”(Matt 10:34-36)


而且这样的纷争和分歧是泾渭分明,没有中间地带。因为主耶稣又说,“不与我相合的,就是敌我的。不同我收聚的,就是分散的。”(路11:23)


“He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me, scatters.”(Luke 11:23)


C. S. Lewis 曾经用四个大写的 “L” 来描述耶稣:Legend (传说),Lunatic(疯子),Liar (骗子),Lord (主)!


如果承认耶稣是一个历史人物,而且读一读《登山宝训》又不大可能出自疯子之口。那么有关耶稣到底是谁的问题,就只剩下要么祂是骗子(Liar)、要么祂是主(Lord)这样二者必居其一的选择了,没有中间地带,没有回旋余地!


一个骗子会为自己编造的谎言自愿走上十字架吗?如果你认为这个问题的答案是否定的,那么就只可能有唯一正确的答案:祂是主!祂是神!


“其中有人要捉拿他,只是无人下手。”(约7:44)


“因为祂的时候还没有到!”(约7:30)


除非祂自己愿意,有谁能把至高的神、宇宙的主捉拿捆绑呢?


二.官长的傲慢


祭司长和法利赛人打发差役去捉拿耶稣,然而差役却空手而归。


法利赛人责问说,“你们为什么没有带祂来呢?”“Why didn't you bring Him in?”(约7:45)


差役回答说,“从来没有像他这样说话的。”“No one ever spoke like this Man!”(John 7:46,ESV)


法利赛人恼羞成怒,他们籍用三个反问句,对三组人群进行不同定性的论断。


1. 你们也受了迷惑吗?


对被打发去捉拿耶稣的差役,“法利赛人说,你们也受了迷惑吗?”(约7:47)


“"You mean he has deceived you also?" the Pharisees retorted.”(John 7:47)


法利赛人的自欺正是在此:到底是谁受了迷惑呢?


迷惑人,向来是魔鬼撒但的工作,牠一开始就用谎言迷惑了亚当夏娃,现今的世代牠仍然用谎言迷惑许许多多的人。


“因他本来是说谎的,也是说谎之人的父。”(约8:44)


“For he is a liar and the father of lies.”(John 8:44)


由于魔鬼撒但的以假乱真,真的也被人认为是假的,假的反而被认为是真的。


“众人为祂(耶稣)纷纷议论。有的说,‘祂是好人。’有的说,‘不然,祂是迷惑众人的。’”(约7:12)


“Among the crowds there was widespread whispering about Him. Some said, "He is a good man." Others replied, "No, He deceives the people."”(John 7:12)


主耶稣的神迹奇事,也被法利赛人污蔑。


“但法利赛人听见,就说,‘这个人赶鬼,无非是靠着鬼王别西卜啊。’”(太12:24)


“But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, "It is only by Beelzebub, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons."”(Matt 12:24)


连主耶稣被钉死十字架、被埋葬坟墓,祭司长和法利赛人还要请求彼拉多,“请吩咐人将坟墓把守妥当,直到第三日。恐怕他的门徒来把祂偷了去,就告诉百姓说,祂从死里复活了。这样,那后来的迷惑,比先前的更利害了。”(太27:64)


“So give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his disciples may come and steal the body and tell the people that he has been raised from the dead. This last deception will be worse than the first.”(Matt 27:64)


今天的世代魔鬼还在辛勤做工,谎言满天飞,混淆视听,人们无力分辨真假,社会便陷入混乱。


2. 官长岂有信祂的呢?


“官长或是法利赛人,岂有信祂的呢?但这些不明白律法的百姓,是被咒诅的。”(约7:48-49)


“Has any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed in Him? No! But this mob that knows nothing of the law--there is a curse on them.” (John 7:48-49)


对于信耶稣的百姓,法利赛人说,“但这些不明白律法的百姓,是被咒诅的。”


法利赛人的意思是:这愚蠢的百姓,不明白律法,该受咒诅;像我们法利赛人,凭借我们的聪明、智慧、能力,岂会被欺哄呢?官长或法利赛人有谁会信祂呢?


法利赛人可真是自我感觉良好,他们的自以为是,也真是到了极致。他们自诩为精通律法,但摩西律法中有多少经文预言基督?整本旧约圣经又有多少经文预言基督?


“耶稣对他们说,这就是我从前与你们同在之时,所告诉你们的话,说,摩西的律法,先知的书,和诗篇上所记的,凡指着我的话,都必须应验。”(路24:44)


“He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms."”(Luke 24:44)


“你们查考圣经。因你们以为内中有永生,给我作见证的就是这经。然而你们不肯到我这里来得生命。”(约5:39-40)


“You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about Me, yet you refuse to come to Me to have life.”(John 5:39-40)


法利赛人到底有多明白律法呢?尤其是,到底谁是该被咒诅的呢?


另外一个问题是,官长中到底有没有人信耶稣呢?


“虽然如此,官长中却有好些信祂的。只因法利赛人的缘故,就不承认,恐怕被赶出会堂。”(约12:42)


“Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in Him. But because of the Pharisees they would not confess their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue.”(John 12:42)


“这些事以后,有亚利马太人约瑟,是耶稣的门徒,只因怕犹太人,就暗暗地作门徒,他来求彼拉多,要把耶稣的身体领去。…又有尼哥底母…”(约19:38-39)


“Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jews. … He was accompanied by Nicodemus.”(John 19:38-39)


多么讽刺,就在法利赛人信誓旦旦地说话的同时,他们中间就有一位德高望重的先生、法利赛人中的一员---尼哥底母---为耶稣辩护。


3. 你也是出于加利利吗?


“内中有尼哥底母,就是从前去见耶稣的,对他们说,‘不先听本人的口供,不知道他所作的事,难道我们的律法还定他的罪吗?’ 他们回答说,‘你也是出于加利利吗?你且去查考,就可知道,加利利没有出过先知。’”(约7:50-52)


“Nicodemus, who had gone to Jesus earlier and who was one of their own number, asked, "Does our law condemn anyone without first hearing him to find out what he is doing?" They replied, "Are you from Galilee, too? Look into it, and you will find that a prophet does not come out of Galilee."”(John 7:51-52)


对于他们的法利赛人同僚,他们也不无挖苦地讥笑他说,“你也是出于加利利吗?”


法利赛人的傲慢无礼可谓是暴露无遗,对于德高望重的尼哥底母,连主耶稣都称他为“以色列的先生,”法利赛人竟极尽讽刺挖苦之能事,肆意攻击他。


然而法利赛人的肆意攻击恰巧显露自己的愚昧无知:“你也是出于加利利吗?你且去查考,就可知道,加利利没有出过先知。”(约7:52)


“Are you from Galilee, too? Look into it, and you will find that a prophet does not come out of Galilee.”(John 7:52)


法利赛人承袭世人的偏见,对加利利、拿撒勒极度蔑视,认为从没有先知从加利利出来。但他们显然并不明白圣经,而且也罔顾基本事实。


第一, 耶稣基督的确是大卫的后裔,诞生于犹太的伯利恒而非加利利;


第二, 旧约圣经预言,弥赛亚的来临将使加利利地区的百姓看见大光。


第三, 先知约拿、那鸿出自加利利,先知以利亚可能出自加利利地区。


“今天在大卫的城里,为你们生了救主,就是主基督。”(路2:11)


“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord.”(Luke 2:11)


“…末后却使这沿海的路,约旦河外,外邦人的加利利地,得着荣耀。在黑暗中行走的百姓,看见了大光。住在死荫之地的人,有光照耀他们。”(赛9:1-2;太4:15-16)


“…but in the future He will honor Galilee of the Gentiles, by the way of the sea, along the Jordan. The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.”(Isa 9:1-2;Matt 4:15-16)


“他(耶罗波安二世)收回以色列边界之地,从哈马口直到亚拉巴海,正如耶和华以色列的神,藉他仆人迦特希弗人亚米太的儿子先知约拿所说的。”(王下14:25)


“He was the one who restored the boundaries of Israel from Lebo Hamath to the Sea of the Arabah, in accordance with the word of the LORD, the God of Israel, spoken through his servant Jonah son of Amittai, the prophet from Gath Hepher.”(2 Kings 14:25)


法利赛人的傲慢无礼、自以为是,恰恰显露他们的愚昧无知和自欺欺人!


“你见自以为有智慧的人吗?愚昧人比他更有指望。”(箴26:12)


“Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.”(Prov 26:12)


三.差役的惊奇


“差役回到祭司长和法利赛人那里。他们对差役说,‘你们为什么没有带他来呢?’ 差役回答说,‘从来没有像祂这样说话的。’”(约7:45-46)


“Finally the temple guards went back to the chief priests and Pharisees, who asked them, "Why didn't you bring Him in?" "No one ever spoke the way this Man does," the guards declared.”(John 7:45-46)


让我们回头再看看这些被祭司长和法利赛人打发去捉拿耶稣的差役。


“‘从来没有像祂这样说话的。”(约7:46)


他们本来是要去捉拿耶稣,却反而被耶稣的话语所俘获!


读到这些差役,不禁想起扫罗去大马色捉拿耶稣的信徒下监,但在大马色的路上遇见复活的主。扫罗本来是要捉拿耶稣的信徒,自己却被主耶稣捉拿,成为基督忠心的使徒---即使徒保罗。


有很多人开始拒绝耶稣,使徒证明基督信仰是错误的、不合理的,他们花了很多时间,做了很多研究,试图推翻基督信仰,最后他们却成为了耶稣基督的俘虏。


L.史特博(Lee Strobel)因为妻子信耶稣很懊恼,他决心要推翻基督教,于是他做了很多的研究和采访,最后自己被说服成了基督徒,写了一本书《The Case for Christ》(《重审耶稣》),这本很有影响的书后来被拍成了电影,帮助了很多人。史特博本人也成为注重护教的牧师。


麦道卫(Josh McDowell)不相信耶稣的复活是真实的,他决心下功夫推翻耶稣的复活,就可以从根本上打垮基督教。于是他花了很多功夫去研究,最后同样是他自己心服口服,于是他将自己的研究汇编成一本书---《铁证待判》(“Evidence That Demands a Verdict: Life-Changing Truth for a Skeptical World”),成为近近十年来重要的护教学书籍。


“从来没有像祂这样说话的。”(约7:46)


“No one ever spoke like this Man!”(John 7:46,ESV)


耶稣的说话到底有何不同,以至于这些差役如此震撼?


1. 耶稣话语的权柄


“…天上地下所有的权柄,都赐给我了。…我就常与你们同在,直到世界的末了。”(太28:18-20)


“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me…. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”(Matt 28:18-20)


2. 耶稣话语的能力


“我吩咐你起来,拿你的褥子回家去吧。”(可2:11)


"I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home."(Mark 2:11)


“说了这话,就大声呼叫说,‘拉撒路出来!’ 那死人就出来了。”(约11:43-44)


“When He had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" The dead man came out.”(John 11:43-44)


3. 耶稣话语的真理


“我就是道路,真理,生命。若不借着我。没有人能到父那里去。”(约14:6)


“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”(John 14:6)


“你们中间谁能指证我有罪呢?我既然将真理告诉你们,为什么不信我呢?”(约8:46)


“Can any of you prove Me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe Me?”(John 8:46)


4. 耶稣话语的救恩


“无病的人用不着医生,有病的人才用得着。我来本不是召义人悔改,乃是召罪人悔改。”(路5:31-32)


“It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”(Luke 5:31-32)


5. 耶稣话语的智慧


“该撒的物当归给该撒,神的物当归给神。”(太22:21)


"Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's."(Matt 22:21)


“你们中间谁是没有罪的,谁就可以先拿石头打她。”(约8:7)


"If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."(John 8:7)


6. 耶稣话语的医治


“回去吧。你的儿子活了。”(约4:50)


“Go your way, your son lives.”(John 4:50,NKJV)


“起来,拿你的褥子走吧。”(约5:8)


"Get up! Pick up your mat and walk."(John 5:8)


7. 耶稣话语的恩典


“我也不定你的罪。去吧,从此不要再犯罪了。”(约8:11)


"Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."(John 8:11)


“主看见那寡妇就怜悯她,对她说,‘不要哭。’”(路7:13)


“When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and He said, "Don't cry."”(Luke 7:13)


8. 耶稣话语的祷告


“父阿,赦免他们。因为他们所作的,他们不晓得。”(路23:34)


“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”(Luke 23:34)


9. 耶稣话语的生命


“我对你们所说的话,就是灵,就是生命。”(约6:63)


“The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.”(John 6:63)


10. 耶稣话语的审判


“倘若你一只眼叫你跌倒,就去掉它。你只有一只眼进入神的国,强如有两只眼被丢在地狱里。在那里虫是不死的,火是不灭的。”(可9:47-48)


“And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, where 'their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.'”(Mark 9:47-48)


11. 耶稣话语的赦罪


“耶稣见他们的信心,就对瘫子说,‘小子,你的罪赦了。’”(可2:5)


“When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."”(Mark 2:5)


12. 耶稣话语的宣称


“耶稣说,我就是生命的粮。到我这里来的,必定不饿。信我的,永远不渴。”(约6:35)


“Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never go hungry, and he who believes in Me will never be thirsty.”(John 6:35)


“凡劳苦担重担的人,可以到我这里来,我就使你们得安息。”(太11:28)


“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”(Matt 11:28)


“耶稣说,我实实在在地告诉你们,还没有亚伯拉罕,就有了我。”(约8:58)


“"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I Am!"”(John 8:58)


“我是阿拉法,我是俄梅戛,我是首先的,我是末后的,我是初,我是终。”(启22:13)


“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”(Rev 22:13)


传说一个怀疑论者,他虽然不信神但却很想看一下大名鼎鼎的布道家乔治怀腓特。有一次得知怀腓特又在举办布道会,他就想趁机目睹一下怀腓特的尊荣。当他去到布道会的时候已经挤满了人,于是他爬到一棵树上,远远地要看一眼怀腓特。他告诫自己只看人、不听他说话。于是他就用双手捂住自己的耳朵。


不知不觉一只苍蝇落在他的鼻子上,他用尽各种办法也不能把它赶走,只好抽出手来将苍蝇赶去。当他刚松开手,便听到怀腓特大声呼叫:“凡有耳可听的,就应当听!”那人很是震惊,于是就继续听下去,要知道怀腓特到底要说什么。那天圣灵在那人心中大大动工,籍着怀腓特的讲道,他信了主并且从此成为一个非常委身的基督徒。


耶稣基督的话语,有权柄、有真理、有能力、有生命、有恩典、有怜悯,有智慧,我们岂不应当认真听从祂的话吗?


“有了我的命令又遵守的,这人就是爱我的。爱我的必蒙我父爱他,我也要爱他,并且要向他显现。”(约14:21)


“Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love him and show Myself to him.”(John 14:21)
